have installed and configured samba many times previously and I have never seen
it give me a boot time error. I am thinking about re-installing the samba
rpms.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>Networking otherwise is working, I can actually "connect to
server," choose windows share, plug in the right IP address & authentication
& get files off of a windows box.</FONT></DIV>
