You can try editing your boot.ini file on the root of the boot drive. There will be a couple of lines in there to edit to get rid of the installation choice on the menu. It sounds to me like something went wrong during the install or your HDD was wiped clean enough and it picked up some sectors from the old install and contiguity bit the dust. If you have M$ apps crashing M$ then you might want to consider starting over again<BR>

get the audio drivers or codecs installed because I don't have any<BR>
sound on the machine at all, other then beeps. Also my Works 2000<BR>
crashes the whole system, which never happened before.<BR>
