I have seen this happen before, it is not a problem with Open Office but with your display settings, and in particular, your monitor setting. Run "redhat-config-xfree86" and adjust your monitor setting, under the advanced tab, and make sure the "set dpi" is set correctly. The "set dpi" is probably screwing you up.<BR>

This is a known RH9 problem with XFree86 and it tickles OOo. Please try
resetting all your settings in XF86Config either manually or via
/usr/bin/redhat-config-xfree86 (menu item)
It seems to me that XFree86 does not record the changes properly and the
reset exercise does work. I have also tried setting the display from
scratch. Both have worked for me.
