I've had little luck getting wine to work well. CrossOver Office (Wine made
to run Office 2k, notes,ect) works pretty well but I've had it get corrupt,
had to uninstall it and reinstall. Even if you can get it to work in wine
(prob not), running an emmulation layer between the game and OS will slow
it down, for things like office that may not be a big deal, but for fast
paced games it may yeild unwanted results even if you get it to work. I've
had to keep a dual boot system with w2k to play games. Until they start making
more linux native games this may be the 'best' solution. My philosophy use
each for it's strengths. If you feel like playing a game boot to windows,
if you feel like being productive boot linux.. Except for quake III there
is a linux native version, and it runs great....<br>
