[nflug] Verizon dsl

I will third or fourth the DNS sucks remarks, I forgot I changed mine to
use my work DNS machines.
I didn't have any issues with their router, I found it has as many
features as a standard out of the box router, I didn't get a wireless
DSL modem so I had to add an access point (or you can dumb down a
router, I had one laying around, depending on make and model, to just
act as an access point), but my mom actually requested and got a
wireless DSL modem, so she was all set. If you can get this unless you
have some no standard requirement, like using a VPN feature on a router
or something, of this should do everything you need. It's a NAT
'router', wireless lan, and you can do port forwarding. If you looking
to do anything else, I would probably do as others have done, and just
use the modem to bridge the DSL interface to the WAN ethernet port on
your router and go from there.
