dns question

the problem with the folling statement is that:

cognigencorp.com          CNAME   www.cognigencorp.com
		^-- DOT goes here

is not fully qualified. you would need to append a . (DOT) to the end of 
cognigencorp.com. if this is not done you may recieve undesired results, 
for example cognigencorp.com.cognigencorp.com.
