Hi everyone,
I'm starting to play around with my Linux box again.
Was out of town for a few days. I think I'm just going
to take things one at a time. I'm starting off with
masquerading my internal network, with Linux running
Mandrake 8.1 as my server. I found a script to enable
masquerading, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to
recognize the ipchains command.
192.168.1.1 is the internal IP of my gateway.
The following is part of the script in
etc/rc.d/init.d/ipmasq file.
/sbin/ipchains -P forward DENY
/sbin/ipchains -A forward -s 192.168.1.0/22 -j MASQ
I still have problems running the Samba server, but
I'll deal with those later.
When and where are your weekly meetings held?
Merry Christmas!
CK
